Our Pleated Sediment Filters offer a high efficiency filtration solution for removing sand, silt, dirt, rust and other particulate from your water. The pleated construction of these filters vastly increases the surface area, which allows for high flow rates at a low pressure drop compared to other solutions. Pleated filter cartridges above 5 micron can be washed and reused several times, making them an economical option when compared to other single-use sediment filters.

Choosing Product Size
We stock these filter cartridges in a variety of lengths, with your choice of either regular diameter (2.5″) or large diameter (4.5″). Choose a size that matches your existing filter housing or flow rate requirements. Most industry standard filter housings are compatible with these filter cartridges, but are available for purchase separately if required.
Choosing Micron Rating
Choose a micron rating based on your requirements. The lower the micron rating the smaller the particle size it traps. If the micron rating is too low then the filter can get blocked quickly, so it is important to strike a balance based on the water quality and application. PLEATED SEDIMENT FILTERS

Manufactured In The UK

Our Pleated Sediment Filters are suitable for a variety of applications such as drinking water, private water supplies and ice baths or hot tubs. Manufactured in the UK using food-grade polypropylene media which is pleated around a polypropylene core for improved integrity and durability. These filters feature thermally set rubber end caps to form a unified end cap and gasket at either end of the filter cartridge, which creates a positive seal with the filter housing and reduces the risk of filter bypass. Our pleated filters are available in 1, 5, 10 or 20 micron ratings and all industry-standard sizes including 10” and 20” lengths, across both regular (2.5”) and large diameters (4.5”).

How Often Do These Filters Need Changing?
These filters can be removed, washed and reused several times once saturated with sediment. To prevent the build up of bacteria it is best practice to replace the filter every 12 months.

Please note that smaller or larger micron ratings are available upon request in box quantities
