Our Spun Bonded Sediment Filters remove dirt, silt, rust, sand and other particulate from your water. Manufactured from FDA approved materials to NSF 42 certifications for safe use with drinking water. Spun filters otherwise known as ‘depth filters’ have a high sediment holding capacity and are designed to trap a broad range of particle sizes, collecting larger debris on the outside and smaller debris in the centre. Available in all industry standard sizes including 10″ and 20″ across both large and regular diameters.

Choosing Product Size
We stock these filter cartridges in a variety of lengths, with your choice of either regular diameter (2.5″) or large diameter (4.25″). Choose a size that matches your existing filter housing or flow rate requirements. Most standard filter housings are compatible with these filter cartridges, but are available for purchase separately if required.
Choosing Micron Rating
Choose a micron rating based on your requirements. The lower the micron rating the smaller the particle size it traps. If the micron rating is too low then the filter can get blocked quickly, so it is important to strike a balance based on the water quality and application. SPUN BONDED SEDIMENT FILTERS

High Capacity Depth Filters

Our range of spun sediment filters are made from high quality, food grade polypropylene with excellent chemical compatibility. Ensuring they are suitable for a whole host of applications including drinking water, food and beverage, electroplating, chemical production and as a pre-filter to a UV or RO system. The polypropylene fibres are thermally bonded, to prevent fibre migration and to maintain structural integrity during use. Delivering exceptionally high dirt holding capacity, these filters offer a long service life and low pressure drop – as a cost effective solution for sediment removal.

How Often Do I Need To Change These Spun Bonded Sediment Filters?
These filters should be changed every 6-12 months, or when visibly dirty.

Please note that larger 30″ and 40″ lengths are available upon request
