Our PWG 4040 RO membranes are low energy, high production membranes capable of high permeate flow rates up to 522 litres per hour. Suitable for use with 4″ x 40″ membrane housings, or as a retrofit for RO systems that utilise 4040 membranes. Offering a rejection rate of 99.3% with a maximum pressure of 20.7 bar – compatible with most commercial RO applications.

High Production 4040 Membranes

PWG’s range of 4040 RO membranes have been developed with energy efficiency in mind, whilst maintaining the high rejection rates required for industrial, municipal and waste-water recovery processes. The high permeate flow offered by these membranes ensures they are suitable for a range of commercial applications, as a retrofit or an upgrade to an existing installation.

PWG 4040ND RO Membrane
The PWG 4040ND RO membrane runs at pressures as low as 6.9 bar and is a suitable alternative to Oltremare LOW1-4040, Hydranautics ESPA1-LD-4040 and Axeon HF1-4040 membranes.

PWG 4040HF RO Membrane
The PWG 4040HF RO membrane is designed to run at a higher operating pressure of 15.5 bar and produces the highest permeate flow rate of all 4040 membranes on the market. This high flow membrane is a suitable alternative to the Oltramere LOW1-4040-XL.
