Low Cost pH Correction
Juraperle is a popular low cost form of pH correction media that is widely used for drinking water applications, including with private water supplies such as boreholes, springs and wells. Available in either 1kg, 5kg or 25kg bags it can easily be refilled into a vessel or filter cartridge as part of a water treatment system. The naturally occurring calcium carbonate doses healthy minerals into your water, raising the pH to an acceptable level. Regulations in the UK provide an acceptable pH range of 6.5 – 9 for drinking water.
How Often Do I Need To Replace Juraperle Media?
Juraperle media is designed to dissolve slowly into your water over time. When the media is almost depleted it should be replaced or topped up. How long this takes will depend on the current pH level of your water.
