INLINE PH CORRECTION FILTERS
Drinking Water pH Correction
Low pH water is naturally acidic, which if left untreated can corrode pipework and leach metals like iron, manganese, copper and lead. High levels of lead in drinking water are associated with a low pH and are also linked to several health problems. These Inline pH Correction Filters are designed to tackle that issue and are commonly employed as a final stage after a reverse osmosis system where the water is being consumed. By correcting the pH of your water with known minerals like calcium carbonate, you increase the pH of your water and in turn reduce its ability to corrode and carry metallic contaminants.
How Often Do I Need To Change These Filters?
These filters contain pH correction media that slowly dissolves over time. When the media is almost depleted the filter needs replacing. How long this takes will depend on the pH of your water. In a domestic setting, this is usually every 6-9 months.
