Our High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters are manufactured in the UK using 316L stainless steel and EC1935/2004 certified cotton media. Designed as a high temperature alternative to our standard range of wound sediment filters, these filters deliver a solution for particulate reduction in uses with high operating temperatures up to 121⁰C whilst maintaining excellent chemical compatibility with organic solvents. The use of high quality materials to produce these filters gives peace of mind when being used in critical process applications.

Product Features
  • Manufactured from food grade EC1935/2004 cotton
  • Suitable for high operating temperatures up to 121⁰C
  • Utilises 316L stainless steel for internal core
  • Naturally adsorptive for degreasing uses
Choosing Product Size

We stock these filter cartridges in regular diameter (2.5″) with your choice of either 10 inch (10″) or 20 inch (20″) lengths. Choose a size that matches your existing filter housing or flow rate requirements. Most standard filter housings are compatible with these filter cartridges, but are available for purchase separately if required.

Choosing Micron Rating

Choose a micron rating based on your requirements. The lower the micron rating the smaller the particle size it traps. If the micron rating is too low then the filter can get blocked quickly, so it is important to strike a balance based on the water quality and application. For help with choosing a suitable micron rating please get in touch before placing your order.

HIGH TEMPERATURE WOUND SEDIMENT FILTERS

EC1935/2004 Certified Cotton Media

These High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters are designed for efficient particulate removal at high temperatures – such as downstream of a boiler. Featuring a unique yarn-wrapped structure to maximise filtration depth and particle retention. Produced from naturally absorptive cotton, they are also particularly effective for de-greasing applications as they retain dispersed oils. Their low initial pressure drop of 0.15 bar or less ensures reliable performance across several industries, including LTHW side streams, electroplating, organic solvents and drinking water filtration.

Please note that additional lengths, diameters and micron ratings are available upon request in box quantities

How Long Do These Filters Usually Last?
These filters should be changed approximately every 6-12 months, or when they become visibly dirty. In commercial and industrial applications it is recommended to replace the filter when a pressure differential of 1.5 bar or more is reached.

Why Choose Our High Temperature Wound Sediment Filters?

  • Manufactured in the UK using food grade materials
  • Yarn like structure to maximise filtration depth
  • Low initial pressure drop of ~0.15 bar
  • Industry standard sizes available
  • Effective for de-greasing uses
