Manufactured using specific grades of coconut shell to meet the demands of continuous operation, our Granular Coconut Carbon has a highly porous structure, allowing it to efficiently adsorb and remove chlorine and organic compounds. It can also be used for heavy metal (including lead) reduction at low flow rates. For high flow rate applications granular activated carbon is the engineers choice over traditional carbon filters, offering higher flow rates, longer service life and sediment reduction capabilities.
Granular carbon can be used in both standard and backwashing systems to increase service life. It is also suitable for pre-treatment to a reverse osmosis system, to remove chlorine and prevent membrane damage.
