Our Clear Filter Cartridge Housings (Large Diameter) are a high quality 2 piece filter housing suitable for use with large diameter (4.25″/4.5″) cartridges. Supplied with spanner, screws and wall bracket ready for installation these filter housings are an excellent choice for high flow rate applications – such as whole house or private water supplies. The clear filter bowls provide a visual indication of cartridge lifespan, complete with plastic threaded ports for compatibility with a range of different liquids.

Choosing Product Size
Choose a filter housing based on your available space, flow rate and requirements for port size. Each housing is designed to suit large diameter ‘BB’ (4.25″ or 4.5″) filter cartridges, with your choice of length and port size. Flow rate is dependent on the capacity of your filter cartridge. These Clear Filter Cartridge Housings feature NSF/ANSI 42 certification – ensuring their suitability for drinking water applications. Each large diameter housing comes with a pressure relief valve in the head, plastic threaded ports and built in seals to ensure a leak free connection between the head and the bowl. Designed for use with large diameter ‘BB’ industry standard filter cartridges with either a 4.25″ or 4.5″ diameter. We offer a range of fittings compatible with these housings, allowing you to connect them together in series or convert the default port sizes to something more convenient.
