Our Carbon Block Filters are manufactured to NSF/ANSI 42 standards using high quality activated coconut carbon, ensuring their suitability for drinking water applications. Carbon filters are an extremely popular technology, used to remove chlorine, VOC’s and chemicals from water – greatly improving its taste, odour and appearance. Available in a range of industry standard sizes to suit flow rates up to 906 litres per hour.

Choosing Product Size

We stock these filter cartridges in a variety of lengths, with your choice of either regular diameter (2.5″) or large diameter (4.25″). Choose a size that matches your filter housing or flow rate requirements. Most industry standard filter housings are compatible with these filter cartridges, but can also be purchased separately if required.

CARBON BLOCK FILTERS

Chlorine, Taste & Odour

Whether you are looking for a filter to improve the taste and clarity of drinking water, or a pre-filter for a wider water treatment system our carbon filters are an excellent choice. Carbon is widely used for its ability to remove chlorine, but can also effectively treat a much wider list of contaminants including lead, pesticides and hormones to name just a few. Each size of carbon filter we offer comes with moulded end caps and an integrated gasket to ensure a positive seal with your filter housing, complete with an outer wrap to protect against sediment built up.

How Long Do These Carbon Block Filters Last?
We recommend changing these filters every 12 months for properties with 1-2 occupants and every 6 months for properties with 3 or more occupants. For commercial applications, the filter lifespan will depend on your daily flow rate.
