ANTI MICROBIAL WOUND SEDIMENT FILTERS
Microban® Anti Bacterial Technology
When filters are installed on unchlorinated water systems such as private water supplies, trapped bacteria can build up in the filter. This leads to a slimy, smelly biofilm forming which can affect the clarity, taste and odour of the water downstream. These unique dual-action filters incorporate advanced Microban® technology to actively inhibit the growth of bacteria and prevent the build up of biofilm, rated to 5 micron for the removal of sediment. Designed for drinking water applications and unchlorinated private water supplies such as boreholes, wells and springs – working in the same way as a traditional wound filter to effectively trap particulate such as sand, silt, dirt and rust.
How Long Do These Filters Usually Last?
These filters should be changed approximately every 6-12 months, or when visibly dirty.
