5 STAGE DIRECT FLOW RO SYSTEM
Suitable For Drinking Water
The 5 Stage Direct Flow RO system is a compact solution for producing drinking water quality purified water, measuring just 53cm tall, 43cm wide and 27cm deep. Utilising an integrated 500GPD booster pump the system can run on pressures as low as 1 bar, making this a great choice for direct flow applications, where purified water is required on demand (such as for the cutting of spirits, use with autoclaves, or coffee machines). The visible pressure gauge gives a clear indication of filter lifespan, making this system incredibly easy to operate and maintain.
Why Use A Direct Flow RO System?
This system is a great alternative to buying purified water, offering a short payback time and low maintenance costs. With an adequate flow rate of 78 litres per hour, this RO accommodates many small-batch applications without the use of a water-storage tank which can otherwise take up valuable space. A de-ionising stage can also be added to the outlet of this system, polishing off any remaining TDS to give 0ppm pure water (where high-purity water is required such as for electronics, autoclaves and lead-acid batteries).
How Long Do The Filters Last?
All pre and post-filters should be changed every 6 months based on daily usage. The 500GPD RO membrane needs to be replaced every 2-3 years if you have soft water, or every 1-2 years if you have hard water. For customers in hard water areas, pre-treatment is recommended to improve membrane lifespan and to reduce operating costs.
