High Flow Rate Sediment Removal
By design bag filters have a much larger surface area than their cartridge equivalents, allowing for higher flow rates, increased dirt-holding capabilities and a longer service life. These features make them a more versatile and cost-effective option for industrial or process applications that regularly deal with large amounts of sediment at high flow rates – alongside small batch manufacturing, home-brewing and bio-diesel production. Our bag filters feature heavy duty seams and a flanged neck ring, manufactured to ISO9001 standards from food-grade polypropylene which offers excellent compatibility with a range of different liquids (including drinking water).
How Long Do These Polypropylene Bag Filters Last?
Bag filters should be changed at a differential pressure of 1 bar or when visibly dirty.
How Can I Use These Bag Filters?
For most applications, a bag filter housing is recommended. In process applications it is common for bag filters to be used without a bag filter housing by suspending the bag filter over a tank or tying it around the neck of a pipe.
